Current Opportunity: Program Director (Full-Time)
Location: Gainesville, FL
Type: Full-Time, In-Office or Hybrid
As the Program Director, you’ll oversee the development and execution of our life-changing camp programs. From managing daily logistics to coordinating staff and volunteers, you’ll play a vital role in delivering a safe, enriching experience for campers and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and manage camp sessions and weekend programs.
- Lead recruitment, training, and management of camp staff and volunteers.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director to ensure programs meet safety and health standards.
- Maintain relationships with families, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Uphold the mission and values of Florida Diabetes Camp in all operations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in program management, especially in a camp or nonprofit setting.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Passion for working with children and families.
